If you’re like many business owners, you’ve thought to yourself how can you leverage AI to benefit your business. Many CEOs find themselves reading blog posts, watching online videos and even attending webinars taught by self-proclaimed AI experts, aka tech nerds, to learn what they’d recommend.
Usually, they spout off a bunch of AI platitudes, generalized AI claims and statements without really sharing any ACTIONABLE information. At the end of the day, most business owners finish their research barely knowing anymore about how to use AI IN THEIR BUSINESS than they did when they first began. The key to knowing how to use AI effectively in your business is this: you have to first know how to GROW your business – this includes all of your marketing functions, all of your advertising functions, all of your fulfillment functions, all of your customer service functions, all of your tech support functions, etc.. Remember we said know how to ‘grow your business’ not simply how to run your business.
This means knowing how to innovate and optimize to get improvements from each of the systems in your business. If you’re familiar with how to do this in your company, only then can you begin to determine where and how to use AI to get measurable improved results.
Starting to make sense? OK we’ll share with you some examples to clarify. Lets start with something as basic as telemarketing. For many businesses, the telephone is still where the sales cycle begins. Whether it’s an inbound or outbound call, oftentimes that’s where the magic starts to happen.
Starting in 2009, we provided outsourcing services in the Philippines to small businesses in the US and around the world. The last tip we’ll share with you is this. Write down a list of jobs that if you had RELIABLE, well trained workers performing, would help you to:
1) increase the number of appointments you have set for your company
2) improve the number of confirmation calls made for your company
3) improve the number of sales made for your company
4) that could help with fulfillment
5) following up and getting paperwork and other materials from clients
6) resolving customer service issues
7) Handle resolving tech support issues
8) etc.

Finally go back and look at your list. Most likely 90% or more of those jobs could be performed by AI..
